Six months that went a long way

The first half of 2021 is over and I’m more than satisfied and grateful. Despite the outbreak of COVID-19 and the pandemic, which we all know how it has evolved as well as the positive effects that the widespread implementation of vaccines has had, at Hispano Suiza these past six months were wildly spectacular, full of learning, progress and new developments, which only reinforce the enthusiasm and passion that the whole team has been putting into the project since its inception.

The year began with an international outlook, with the agreement with Mohr Group as a distribution partner of our brand in Germany, in its exclusive outlet located in Motorworld München after we were received by its president. It continued with the celebration of the first Extreme E race called “Desert X”, where our Hispano Suiza Xite Energy Team took a well-deserved fifth place in Saudi Arabia. Our drivers and the whole team gave everything they had. A great experience of professional and above all personal growth for all of us, as the living in close quarters makes you get to know one another and brings out the best in everyone.

We launched the Hispano Suiza Unique Tailormade program, a configurator that generates up to 1,904 ways for buyers to create the car of their dreams. Nearly 2,000 different customization combinations, which reflect the diversification of possibilities to create a Hispano Suiza Carmen that is unique to each customer. This is another example of our desire to make the 19 units of the Carmen works of art on wheels, collector’s items, symbols of excellence and that each owner can participate from 0 to 100% in the customization of their vehicle.

True to our city, we signed agreements with landmark hotels in Barcelona, the Arts Barcelona, the Mandarin Oriental and the Palace Barcelona, with which we share premium values and love for this city.

And a few days ago we carried out an unprecedented action in the automotive industry. In conjunction with the Trillion Collection we created 12 exclusive versions of the Hispano Suiza Carmen to be sold exclusively as NFT; a very active and constantly growing market, especially in the art and exclusive collectibles sector.

All these milestones were achieved with the effort, passion and energy of all the teams and partners. Also with the good feedback from customers and with the support of the entire community that follows us and that appreciates that our project to revive a historic brand through electric vehicles with fully customizable tailor-made models is inspiring. Thank you very much and here’s to six more months that we’re sure will make people talk!
